Introduction
Ragging is a criminal offense and is strictly prohibited by both State and Central Governments. Bharat Skills Eduvarsity (Central Council, Delhi- 110090) has a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging, and any student found guilty of ragging will face severe consequences. Punishments for ragging are as follows
1. Imprisonment:Â Up to three years.
2. Fine:Â Up to Rs. 50,000.
3. Dismissal:Â Immediate expulsion from the Central Council.
Objectives of the Anti-Ragging Committee
1. Prevent and Prohibit Ragging:Â To eliminate all forms of ragging through preventive measures and strict enforcement of anti-ragging policies.
2. Raise Awareness: Â To educate and sensitize students about the negative impacts of ragging and the importance of maintaining a respectful and supportive community.
3. Provide Support:Â To offer support and protection to students who may be affected by ragging.
4. Ensure Compliance:Â To ensure that BSE adheres to all national anti-ragging regulations and guidelines.
