Work-Integrated Industry Learning Programe (WIILP)

Bharat Skills Eduvarsity (BSE) is committed to redefining higher education by creating dynamic, flexible, and employment-centric learning pathways for today’s learners. In alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and global best practices, the University proudly offers the Work-Integrated Industry Learning Program (WIILP)—a forward-looking educational model designed to seamlessly blend academic learning with real-time industry experience.

The WIILP framework ensures that students gain not only theoretical knowledge but also hands-on expertise, workplace competencies, and professional readiness that give them an edge in a competitive job market. This program is ideally suited for students, working professionals, employers, and industry partners who seek a structured, mutually beneficial model of skill-oriented higher education.

Introduction to WIILP

The Work-Integrated Industry Learning Program (WIILP) is an innovative academic model that integrates Central Council curriculum with practical industry experience. It allows students to earn undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional qualifications while simultaneously gaining exposure to real-world work environments.

Under WIILP, learning takes place in two interconnected formats:

1. Academic Learning – Conducted through blended or flexible modes, including online classes, digital resources, classroom sessions, and faculty-led guidance.

2. Industry Learning – Conducted at partner organizations, companies, factories, hospitals, corporate offices, NGOs, and sector-specific institutions where students apply what they learn in real time.

This dual-learning model significantly enhances employability and bridges the gap between higher education and workplace expectations.

Objectives of WIILP

  • The WIILP model at BSE has been developed with multiple strategic objectives:
  • To provide students with industry-relevant skills and experience from the beginning of their academic journey.
  • To enable workforce-ready graduates who can contribute effectively to the economy.
  • To build strong Central Council-industry partnerships that foster innovation, research, and talent development.
  • To offer flexible learning pathways for both fresh learners and working professionals.
  • To ensure compliance with NEP 2020, which emphasizes vocational exposure, practical learning, and multiple exit-entry options.
